THE BOOKS OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Special mention should be made of the efforts poured by Viñas del Vero into the publication of the work "Viñas de Vida" ("Vines of Life"), a spectacular book of photographs of the Viñas del Vero vineyards during the four seasons of the year, complete with their flora and fauna, taken over the course of more than three years by the renowned photographer Ricardo Vila. The book received the award for the best work published in 2002 handed out each year by the Spanish Ministry of Culture.

January 2006 also saw the publication of "Laberintos" ("Labyrinths"), the second photography book to be produced by the winery itself, revealing the more closely guarded delights of the Somontano district: its people, crops, history, traditions, architecture... lovingly depicted alongside texts written by such major Spanish figures as Javier Tomeo, Soledad Puertotas, Carlos Falcó, Imelda Moreno, Joaquín Araujo…
